PSP teams up with Cascade Productions for GAMEfest 2011

Birmingham's NEC was the site of GAMEfest 2011 that was put on by GAME, the leading specialist video-game retailer in Europe. PSP supplied the event with all the audio visual kit and services that it needed. The NanoLumens flexible LED display and 103" Panasonic Plasma screen made sure that there were enough signage and wayfinding displays. This was necessary due to the importance of communication and adherence to activity timings at this event.

Age of Zombies for PSP available for download on February 25th

Halfbrick Studios has announced a new title: Age of Zombies with a release date set for February 25 2010. Here is what they say about the game:

"No one has anything against a good zombie game really, it’s just that there’s a lot of them. So we needed to try something different. We didn’t want to kill zombies in the usual way. We didn’t want to survive a deadly undead army in the ruins of some scary-ass town. We wanted to travel through time and shoot zombie dinosaurs and mummies and junk. So, we created Age of Zombies!"

Tutorial on how to run ChickHEN Enabler R2

If you are reading this, it means that you want to run homebrew games or apps on your PSP. By default the PSP does not support this kind of software so you will need to install homebrew enabler on your Play Station Portable. Mobile downloads website coming soon!

First of all we would like to welcome you to the PSP Twist website. As you might noticed we have just opened the site and started adding downloads, news, tutorials and everything else you might find useful. But while testing the site on our PSP we noticed that it was not easy to download right to the PSP, so we started working on a mobile downloads website optimized for the PSP browser. PSP Battery Warning Plugin updated to v0.3.1

Zack has just released another update to the popular Battery Warning Plugin. The new  version 0.3.1 features the ability to turn the message off, changed message to display remaining battery percentage and time remaining (in mins), message don't get hidden behind objects and more. For those who are not familiar Battery Warning plugin is a PSP plugin that shows a message on screen when your battery reaches 15% or less charge. Works in VSH/GAME + Homebrew Games & Apps. PSP Go! in stores October 1st

Does anybody got exited about the new PSP Go!? We didn't, but hey, here is some interesting info about the new PSP Go! and all those of you who got exited about it. As first, for all those of you who can't wait to get their hands on the PSP Go! you will be able to buy it from October 1st when it hits the stores. Its going to be at a price of $299.00 for the US and 299 EUR in Europe. I know it sucks that you have to pay more if you live in Europe, but better start saving now.

God Of War: Chains Of Olympus

This is probably the best game there is for the PSP. If you didn’t play this game and you have a PSP, you are probably lame. =) In the game you begin as Kratos the god of war after you killed the actual god of war Ares(the story of this game takes place before the first God Of War for Playstation 2), but all your god powers are taken from Zeus as punishment.
